I am endlessly fascinated by people. I am captivated by our stories, by our tragedies, and by our triumphs.

As a therapist it is a privilege to listen with intent to personal stories of pain, loss, recovery, and hope.  I am a witness to human transformation. I am delighted to know I play a part in the transformation. I love my job!

I have been practicing family therapy for eighteen years. From 2005 to 2016 I worked for K-W Counselling Services (Kitchener, Ontario, Canada); a large not-for-profit family counselling centre.  In 2016 I established this small and very special counselling practice for women and partners following pregnancy loss. I am known for a warm, compassionate, and focused approach as a therapist.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist, a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist, and a Clinical Fellow of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.  I hold a B.Sc. (Psychology) from Wilfrid Laurier University and an M.Sc. (Couple and Family Therapy) from the University of Guelph.

On the personal side of things, my husband and I are the parents of three wonderful boys and we are the survivors of nine miscarriages (gulp, sniff!). Through many years of heartbreak we received incredible support from family, friends, and a small army of health care professionals.

Daily life around our house is about packing lunches, dispensing goldfish crackers, and chats on the potty (in all manner of family configuration).

Life is good.
